Opening an Account

  • • CDS Account: Open a Central Depository System (CDS) account with Orbit Securities
  • • Required Documents: National ID or passport, TIN Number, and other relevant documentation

Auction Process

  • • Announcement: The Bank of Tanzania announces auction details
  • • Bidding: Submit bids through Orbit Securities with your desired yield
  • • Allocation: Bonds are allocated based on auction results

Trading and Holdings

Holding and Trading

  • Interest Payments: Receive regular interest payments directly to your bank account twice a year
  • Maturity: Principal amount is credited to your account at maturity
